Night Wars

Meet Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton... Science class.

The beginning of a Night War (traying to kill the other team).

You never know when there will be a Night War. 

When Weston and his friends feel like it... They call and say...

"ATTENTION Messer household your home has been breached.

You have 30 seconds to prepare for battle. 

Turn off the lights.

  

 GAME ON!"

Then we hit the lights, dress in everything black we have, and prepare for the attack.

It is intense and really fun.  

Thane and Weston always win.

 Our team rallies for the final closing arguments.

 Today I visited the Recycling center and Waste Management (the dump). Thane collects aluminum cans and plastic bottles and returns them for money.  Then he donates that money to Food For the Poor.  It smelled really bad.

I decided I would not want to work at the dump.

Then we visited the Animal Shelter (the pound).  We had to get our old dog Nadia out of the shelter because last night she wandered off and security picked her up and took her to the pound.  It smelt really bad.  I decided I also would not want to work at the pound.  Van said I need to stay in school! ha! ha!

This is Thane and his Dirt Bike.  Dirt Biking is his Sport (and Tennis).  

          

The dogs do the funniest thing... they take Thane's or Van's shoes in the night and sleep with them.

They do this because they love them (van and Thane) and it is like a baby blanket, or security object.

                                                          Last night they took MINE!

Van said I have been "officially initiated into the Messer family"!!!  

Even the dogs LOVE ME!

             We had a HUGE "Yard Sale" to raise money for Weston's Youth Group.
(this is just the front half!)  Many people donated items and we sold them to raise money.  It was a lot of work, but we raise a lot of money!

We spent two days in San Francisco. It was very fun. The buildings were huge. 

I enjoyed the walk across the Golden Gate bridge, it took about 30 minutes.

Making food for the homeless was very interesting and it made me feel good. 

We rode the BART to San Francisco, there we ate dinner in China town.

It was a great weekend
